- Magellan’s Cross – See the original wooden cross that was planted by Portuguese conquistador Ferdinand Magellan to signify the adaptation of Christianity by the original inhabitants of the city. Take time to notice and watch candle sellers dance around in their effort to peddle you their candles.
- Basilica Menore de Sto. Nino – The Basilica houses a statue of the Sto. Nino that is considered as the oldest religious relic in the Philippines. The statue, decorated with gold and precious stones, is contained in a glass case and is placed on the left side of the altar.
- Colon Street– Walk along the oldest street in the Philippines and appreciate some aged buildings dating back to the American period. Stay until sundown and witness the street transform into a night market that is perfect for strolling and shopping.
- Fort San Pedro – One of the city’s scenic spot, Fort San Pedro is the smallest Spanish outpost in the country during the colonial era. Treasures and ruins from the sunken San Diego galleon from Mexico can be seen in the small museum inside the Fort.
- Pristine Beaches – Cebu is surrounded by pristine beaches. Pick where you want to swim!
- Provincial Capitol – The largest provincial capitol in the country. Built during the American era, the original design of this building is a miniature of the US White House.
- Tops – Sitting at the top of Mt. Busay, visit this favorite hangout and get to enjoy a cool, unobstructed view of the entire city.
- Casa Gorordo Museum – visit the well-preserved Spanish colonial mansion complete will all the amenities enjoyed during that era.

- The Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary – A heaven for birdwatchers. The months of July to November marks the “Southward Migration” of about 50,000 species of migratory bird who make Olango Island a stopover during their journey. The island is also an excellent dive site with its rich marine life but is only recommended for experienced divers because of its relatively strong current.
- Lapu-Lapu Monument – The site where the battle between Mactan Island chieftain Lapu-Lapu and Ferdinand Magellan happened. The monument stands to symbolize Filipino bravery.
- Magellan Marker – During the Battle of Supremacy on April 27, 1521 the chieftain of Mactan Island Lapu-lapu killed Ferdinand Magellan as he was making his way to further spread Christianity. This marker was put up to mark the spot where the great explorer died.
- Lagundi Reef – Described to be an underwater paradise, Lagudi Reef is a new addition to the growing diving sites of the country. Divers will witness a wide array of marine life, spectacular wreckages and remarkable coral formations here.
- Sta. Teresa de Avila Church – A unique Greco-Roman church in the country, it is also one of the oldest church in Cebu. Coral stones were used for the structure to emphasize its beauty. The church can be found in barangay Poblacion just in front of the Old City Hall of Talisay Cty.
- Crocolandia – A popular destination, Crocolandia houses over a hundred different species of animals from crocodiles to snakes and birds. Crocolandia is a great place to spend time with kids and the entire family.
